The Emissary

Hey everyone,

After almost three years without posting, I'm excited to share my latest personal project with you: a game-ready weapon prop.

The main goal was to create a detailed model with a distinctive design, optimized for game engines, striking a balance between visual fidelity and technical efficiency.

This project was also a personal challenge: staying true to the coherence and artistic direction of the original concept by Alexander Trufanov, aiming to improve my visual interpretation skills and my workflow from concept to final implementation.

The entire model was rendered in Marmoset Toolbag.

Technical Breakdown

Model: 13,575 Tris

Textures: 1 set of 2K PBR maps (Albedo, Normal, Roughness, Metallic)

Workflow: High-Poly (ZBrush) → Low-Poly (Maya) → Texturing (Substance Painter) → Render (Marmoset Toolbag)
